The Art of Taxes, formerly, McEwan-Upright & Associates, Inc. is dedicated to providing affordable and reliable services to our local, and extended communities.  We strive to offer fair rates, while accurately performing your tax and accounting needs.  The majority of our services are not done on an hourly rate, because we do not think it is fair for our clients to pay for speed, or lack thereof.  Accuracy is much more important to us.  Therefore, our tax returns are priced based on the number, and type of forms, and our accounting is based on the number of transactions per period of accounting.  We do charge hourly for tax planning, QuickBooks consultation, and rescue and repair of previously done bookkeeping. We are flexible with our pricing and do offer payment plans, all payment is due upon delivery of product. 

Tax returns start at $50 for a 1040-EZ with one W-2

Tax Planning starts at $150/hour but we do offer free tax planning with the preparation of your current year tax return for new clients.

We also offer referral bonuses - 10% of your tax return fee is returned to you, or credited to next year if you refer a new client who has us prepare their return, or start accounting services (bonus increases if it's accounting.)

New clients always receive a 20% discount, and mail-in/uploaded returns also receive a 10% discount.
